SIX-DAY RETREATS
Opening Saturday: Registration from 5pm Supper 6.30pm.  Opening session 7.30pm, Closing Friday: Departure after 1pm lunch.
Bookings are secured only on receipt of a €60 deposit [non-refundable].  The balance may be paid on arrival.

WEEKEND RETREATS AND COURSES
Friday: Registration from 5pm.
Supper: 6.30pm. Opening session: 7.30.
Sunday: Departure after 1.00pm lunch.
Bookings are secured only on receipt of a €60 deposit [non-refundable].  The balance may be paid on arrival.

ONE-DAY RETREATS AND COURSES
See the individual event for cost and times.  Bookings are secured only on receipt of a deposit [non-refundable] of €20.  [Lunch, morning and afternoon tea/coffee are included.

Gift vouchers available.  Debit/Credit cards facility for phone payments.  Bank transfer available online.  Please contact the Secretary for details.

SCHOOL RETREATS
School retreats take place from September to May.  We welcome groups of up to 100 students, from 6th class up to Leaving Certificate.  We welcome students of all faiths and none.  The facilitators came from a variety of youth work backgrounds: some have undergone graduate and post-graduate studies in Spirituality, Theology, Relationships and Sexuality, Communication, Addictions Studies, Mental Health etc.  Through reflection, discussion, meditation, games, Students are helped to explore their hopes and dreams as well as their difficulties.  Students say they feel affirmed and restored, during what is often the most bonding day of their school years.  Special group needs can be discussed in advance, e.g. Bullying, online behaviour, stress management, mindful skills etc.,

Secondary Schools: 9.30---2.30. Cost: €15.00 per person includes refreshments at breaks.  Students can bring a packed lunch, or we can provide homemade soup for €3.00 per student.

Primary Schools: 9.30---1.00pm Cost: €10 per student [includes fruit juice and biscuits at break].
Dates can be secured by deposit over phone.  Early booking is advised.

 

The Centre is equipped with free Wi-Fi, flip-charts, data projector, projector screen, CD players, etc., are available.  We also have a bookshop with a good stock of religious books: also a range of gift objects: photo cards and wood carvings [made in the Centre] candles, incense, etc., Free parking for participants.

How to get here:  By Bus : Many buses go to Tallaght, but the most convenient are the 65, 27, from College Green to Tallaght. On the 27 get off at the last stop on the Greenhills road turn right at the lights and take the next right and the entrance to The Dominican Retreat House is on your left.

The Retreat House is a detached building with a glass porch at the top of a short flight of steps and ramp. On the 65 bus get off at the stop before the I.T. Tallaght and cross the road and take the left turn at Murphy’s Pub on the corner.

The next entrance in the wall is the Priory Church Continue past this entrance and take next left turn and the entrance to The Dominican Retreat House is on your left. The Retreat House is situated on your right when you come up the avenue; it is a detached building with a glass porch at the top of a short flight of steps and ramp
